Helen Clark MacInnes (October 7th 1907 - 1985), was a Scottish suspense novelist.

She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and graduated from Glasgow University in 1928 with a degree in French and German. Working as a librarian, she married in 1932 and moved with her husband to New York in 1937.
