Alyssa Renee Abaya Cruz (born March 5, 1988) is a Filipina lawyer and politician who has been serving as the Vice Mayor of Batangas City since 2022. She was first elected in the 2022 local elections and re-elected in the 2025 polls. She succeeded Emilio Francisco A. Berberabe Jr. in the position.

Political career
[edit]Cruz began her political career when she was elected as Vice Mayor of Batangas City in the 2022 Philippine local elections. She ran unopposed and received 154,656 votes.[2] Her leadership was reaffirmed in 2025 when she was re-elected to the same position. As Vice Mayor, she presides over the Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council) and has advocated for progressive local policies, women's empowerment, and grassroots development.
