Animal Sound Instruments are musical instruments that are designed to mimic the sound of an animal. The Inca Empire is known for using water in animal-shaped containers to make various noises. Water drums and water flutes were also used commonly. Birds, frogs, and jaguars were often the animals being imitated, and the instruments would be used for religious rituals.[1]
