Apoplexy

Apoplexy means bleeding from an internal organ. Formerly, apoplexy referred to a stroke. It sometimes referred to someone who was very mad. The word apoplexy comes from the Greek apoplexia meaning a seizure, in the sense of being struck down. In Greek plexe is "a stroke.[1]
