Auriens Group is a British later living provider that owns and operates Auriens Chelsea, a residential later living community for individuals aged 65 and over. Located on Dovehouse Street in Chelsea, London, the development overlooks Dovehouse Street and the King's Road.
Auriens Chelsea is built on the site of what was formerly the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's only local authority care home. The development opened in 2021 and includes 56 one and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 900-2,100 sq ft[1] which incorporate adaptive elements intended to support long-term independent living.
Communal amenities include a bar, private cinema, wine cellar, and restaurant. Interior design for the communal areas was provided by studios including Albion Nord, Goddard Littlefair, Richmond International, and Brady Williams. Auriens Chelsea also hosts a programme of resident events, including concerts, exhibitions, and guest speaker sessions.
Auriens offers services aimed at supporting an active lifestyle, including a 24/7 concierge team that arranges cultural outings and travel. The company partners with health and wellbeing professionals through the Kyros Project to provide personalised wellness programmes focusing on cognitive health, sleep, nutrition, and mobility.[2]
On-site wellness facilities include a gym, exercise studios, a spa with a 15-metre swimming pool, and a salt sauna. Additional services include physiotherapy, nutrition planning, and optional in-home care provided by Draycott Nursing & Care, a sister company of Auriens.
The company was co-founded by Karen Mulville (wife of Jimmy Mulville) and Johnny Sandelson.[3][4] Julie Fawcett was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Auriens Group in November 2023.[5]
