Avik Anwar (born 4 September 1986) is a Bangladeshi motorsports racer. He won the Volkswagen AMEO Cup - 2019 in India.[1][2][3] He won the NGK Pro Car Championship in the United Arab Emirates in 2021.[4][5][6][7][8][9] And He became the champion at the Yas Marina Circuit - F1 in the United Arab Emirates in 2022.[10][11][12][13][14] He won the Malaysia Championship Series - 2023 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.[15][16] And he is also the winner of the Gulf Pro Car Championship in 2024.[17] He is the Managing Director of Car House Imports, and Director of Car House Ltd.[18][19]
Career
[edit]Avik has participated in the Rally Cross motor sports competition in Bangladesh since 2014. He became a hat-trick champion in the competition held in Munshiganj, Dhaka. That led to racing in the international arena, "I came first the first two times by a microsecond." In 2016, he became the champion.[20]
He was appointed Brand Ambassador for Meghna Group of Industries (MGI).[21][22][23][24] And he got brand partnerships with Caltex and Lubricants.[25][26]
He participated in the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games Touring Car Cup.[27] He also competed in the Clio Cup Middle East.[28]
