Baranqur (Persian: برنقور)[a] is a village in Qarah Bolagh Rural District of Bagh Helli District in Soltaniyeh County,[b] Zanjan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 160 in 35 households, when it was in Soltaniyeh Rural District[5] of Soltaniyeh District[c] in Abhar County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 113 people in 31 households,[7] by which time the district had been elevated to the status of Soltaniyeh County.[4] The rural district was transferred to the new Central District, and Baranqur was transferred to Qarah Bolagh Rural District created in the new Bagh Helli District.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 93 in 26 households.[2]
