Bergstrom Automotive is an automotive dealership group headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin. The company operates over 40 dealership locations Wisconsin, representing various automotive brands.[1]

History

Bergstrom Automotive was established in 1982 in Neenah, Wisconsin, by John F. Bergstrom and his brother Richard.[2][3] The company expanded its operations through acquisitions and opened its first store, a Chevrolet outlet, in 1982.[4] By 2019, the company had grown to 30 dealerships and 35 brands.[5]

The company has also engaged in community initiatives, including collaborations with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin,[6] United Way,[7] and the Medical College of Wisconsin's "Drive for a Cure" campaign.[8]

Expansion

In February 2020, Bergstrom Automotive acquired Cliff Wall Automotive’s Subaru, Mazda, and Mitsubishi dealerships in Green Bay, Wisconsin.[9]

In August 2023, the company purchased Broadway Automotive,[10] a dealership group with operations in Green Bay and Manitowoc.[11] The acquisition included Broadway Chevrolet-Volkswagen, Broadway Ford-Hyundai-Genesis, and Broadway Manitowoc.[12]

In September 2024, Bergstrom Automotive opened a Hyundai dealership in Ashwaubenon.[13]

In December 2024, the company acquired Lexus of Madison, its fifth dealership in the Madison area.[14] As of that year, Bergstrom Automotive operated more than 40 dealerships across Wisconsin.[15][1]
