Bibi Hakimeh is renowned for the Imamzadeh Bibi Hakimeh mausoleum, a significant religious site in southern Iran. The shrine is dedicated toBibi Hakimeh, the daughter of the seventh Shia Imam, Musa al-Kadhim, and sister of the eighth Imam, Reza. Constructed within a natural cave in the Zagros Mountains, the mausoleum features stone walls and a domed structure, reflecting traditional Iranian architecture. It serves as a pilgrimage destination, attracting visitors from Iran and neighboring countries such as Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Syria[3] The village is part of the Bibi Hakimeh Rural District, with its administrative center in Baba Kalan. As of the 2006 census, Bibi Hakimeh had a population of 134 residents in 25 families. In addition to its religious significance, the area is notable for the Bibi Hakimeh oil field, one of Iran's major onshore oil fields. Discovered in 1961 and commencing production in 1963, the field contributes significantly to the country's oil output.[4]
