Biocide

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A biocide is a chemical that is used to kill living things to protect human activity, especially in agriculture and industry.

The European Union divides biocides into disinfectants, preservatives, and pest control chemicals, with a short list of other biocides that don't fit any of those groups.[1]
