This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.

for |chapter=, the URL may belong in |chapter-url=.
for other parameters, it may belong in |url=.

Wrapping the parameter value in double parentheses (i.e. "accept as written" markup) does not work around this error message.
