Chitar Agoon (Bengali: চিতার আগুন) is a popular song written by journalist Shamim Hossen and released on March 20, 2022.[1][2] In addition to composing the song, the song was sung by the famous singer Emon Khan, the unmarried Samrat of Bangladesh. Notable work of Shamim Hossen are Nabab Alom, Jadur Baksho and Jodi Thake Nosibe.

History and popularity
[change | change source]The song Chitar Agoon, written by Shamim Hossen and produced by Milon Khan, was released on the Hi Speed Production YouTube channel on 20 March 2022. The song was sung by Emon Khan and composed by Real Ashique. The artist himself composed the music. Milon Khan did the editing and curling as well as producing the music video of the song. Since its release, the song has been viewed by 186,734 people. Chitar Agoon is Shamim Hossen's second song. His first song Dukher Feriwala was sung by popular actor Fazlur Rahman Babu.
In an interview lyricist journalist Shamim Hossen said, 'When writing songs, I don't decide on an artist first. I try to write songs in the style that people are used to hearing in the voice of that artist. I followed this principle while writing songs for Emon Bhai as well. Chitar Agoon is my second song. In this song, the audience will find the real Emon Khan. Everyone will pray for me. I want to give you better songs in the future.'[6]
Singer Emon Khan said, 'I sang the song written by Shamim Bhai for the first time. The lyrics of the song are amazing. It will touch everyone's heart. The song has a different emotion. Honestly, after singing it, I fell in love with the song. Real Ashik always makes good music. Along with giving the voice, I also composed the melody of this song. I hope everyone will like it.
