Coccinelloidea เป็นอันดับสูงของอันดับด้วงในอันดับ Coleoptera ซึ่งเดิมเคยถูกจัดอยู่ในอันดับสูง Cucujoidea มีสปีชีส์มากกว่า 10,000 ชนิดใน Coccinelloidea รวมถึงมากกว่า 6,000 ชนิดในวงศ์เต่าทอง (Coccinellidae)[1][2][3]
