Colander

Colander is a perforated bowl used to strain off liquid from food after washing or cooking.[1]

Colanders are often composed of a light metal, like thinly rolled stainless steel or aluminium. Colanders can also be manufactured of ceramic, enamelware, silicone, and plastic.[2]
