Diphan (14 January 1970 – 13 March 2017) was an Indian film director known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Diphan was the son of renowned dubbing artist Anandavally. He was best known as the director of the film Puthiya Mukham (2009), starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. His contributions to Malayalam cinema, especially in the action genre, remain widely appreciated.

Career

Diphan started his career in the industry as an assistant director, working under Shaji Kailas in films such Valliettan (2000), The Tiger (2005), and Sound of Boot (2008). His directorial breakthrough was the film Puthiya Mukham (2009), which became a major commercial and critical success.

Death

Diphan died on 13 March 2017 due to complications from liver-related health issues.
