Disprz is an educational technology company founded in 2015. Disprz offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for workforce capability building.[1]

History

Disprz was founded in 2015 under the name Learntron.[1][2][3] The company focused on serving online learning providers and enterprises in its early years.[4][5] In 2017, it secured $370,000 in seed funding,[6] followed by a $2 million Series A round in 2018 to further develop its platform.[7][8]

As the company shifted its focus to scalable enterprise learning and skill development, it rebranded to Disprz.[9][10]

From 2015 to 2020, Disprz grew alongside the rising adoption of MOOCs and mobile-first learning. The company introduced skills-based learning services in emerging markets, developing the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) category.[11]

In 2020, Disprz won in the Atma Nirbhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge under the eLearning category.[12][13] The COVID-19 pandemic helped Disprz and led to a $13 million Series B funding round in 2021.[14][15][16] In 2022, the company was recognized as EdTech Startup of the Year by Entrepreneur India Magazine.[17]

In 2023, Disprz raised $30 million in Series C funding to support global expansion and evolve into a comprehensive people intelligence suite.[18][19][20] In 2025, Disprz integrated generative AI throughout its platform—enhancing content creation, assessments, and skill discovery[21] —and was recognized as a Leader by G2 across multiple corporate learning categories.[22]
