Aleksey Yuryevich Pekhov (Russian: Алексей Юрьевич Пехов; born 30 March 1987) better known by the pen name Alexey Pehov is a Russian writer. He writes mostly fantasy.

Pehov was born on 30 March 1987 in Moscow into a family of dentists. He studied orthodontics at the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry. He lives with his wive Yelena Bychkova [ru] in Moscow.[1]

The Russian name of the series is Ветер и искры. The German title is Die Chroniken von Hara (The Chronicles of Hara)
