Alianza is a privately held telecommunications software company headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The company offers a full-stack, cloud-native communications platform built for telecommunications service providers seeking to modernize their voice networks.[1]
History
[edit]Alianza was founded in 2009 in Pleasant Grove, Utah by entrepreneur Brian Beutler.
In October 2023, the company announced a $61 million growth equity and debt financing round to accelerate its market expansion, cloud technology innovation, and investment in artificial intelligence applications for telecommunications services.[2]
On March 4, 2025, Alianza completed the acquisition of Metaswitch Networks from Microsoft. The transaction expanded Alianza’s customer base to more than 1,000 service providers, including 19 of the top 20 global telecom operators.[3][4]

Partnerships and Collaborations
[edit]In November 2023, Alianza announced a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to transform how communication service providers deliver and monetize voice and cloud communications services.[5][6]
