Submission declined on 26 May 2025 by WeWake (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. Declined by Gheus 3 months ago. | ![]() |

Submission declined on 15 October 2024 by Bonadea (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Bonadea 7 months ago. | ![]() |
Comment: Note: Draft:Andreas A Andreadis seems to be duplicate of this. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 07:09, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Please see reliable sources. A good number of the sources you have referenced are announcements and don't support notability. Flat Out (talk) 01:22, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
Comment: It's mandatory for biographic articles to have in-line citations. See WP:INTREFVE for the tutorial. qcne (talk) 13:37, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Comment: Phrasing like "He continues to leverage both his academic and professional dimensions" and "managed through all his tenures to massively upgrade the positioning of both" is pure promotion with no actual content. The sources are not independent, and at least two are copies of the same primary source. bonadea contributions talk 19:53, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

Career
[edit]Tourism sector involvement
[edit]From 2011 to 2017, Andreadis served as president of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the primary industry association representing Greece’s tourism sector. Under his tenure, SETE collaborated with government and private entities on tourism strategy, data analysis, and seasonal extension.[2] According to public data, tourist arrivals in Greece rose significantly during this period, from 15.5 million in 2012 to 27.2 million in 2017.[3]
Andreadis helped establish Marketing Greece S.A., a non-profit entity promoting Greek tourism abroad, as well as Discovergreece.com, a digital platform for tourism content.[4] He was also involved in founding the SETE Institute (INSETE), which focuses on tourism-related research and training initiatives.
From 2006 to 2011, he served as president of the Hellenic Hotel Federation. Between 2013 and 2016, he was a member of the Board of Directors at the Bank of Greece.[5]
Sani/Ikos Group

In 2015, he co-founded the Sani/Ikos Group in partnership with Mathieu Guillemin and other investors. The group introduced the “Unconditional Luxury” model, a version of all-inclusive hospitality incorporating branded dining and premium services. [7] The company has since expanded into Spain and announced further developments in Portugal and other Mediterranean locations.
In 2022, global investment firm GIC acquired a stake in the group in a transaction valuing the company at approximately €2.3 billion.[8]
In 2023, Andreadis and his brother Stavros were jointly awarded the IHIF Lifetime Achievement Award for their contributions to European hospitality development.[9]
Public views
[edit]Andreadis has contributed commentary on Greece’s tourism economy in various international and domestic media. In an interview with *The Guardian* during the country’s financial crisis, he emphasized the resilience of the tourism sector and its role in economic recovery.[10] In later commentary, he emphasized the strategic importance of service quality and human capital in Greek tourism.[11]
