Anna Erat is a Finnish-Swiss medical doctor and healthcare leader specializing in internal medicine, sports medicine, preventive health, and longevity. Education
[edit]Erat completed her medical studies at the University of Zurich Medical School in Switzerland and Harvard Medical School in the USA. After graduating, she conducted post-doctoral research at Harvard Medical School in biomedicine and genetics. In parallel, she received a PhD in epidemiology and health systems management from the University of Basel (Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute).
Clinical practice
[edit]Erat's career encompasses clinical practice, research, and leadership roles in healthcare. Specialising in internal and sports medicine, Erat has provided medical care to top athletes, including national ice hockey team players, Formula 1 drivers, and world-class Ironman triathletes.
She has served as the Chief of Strategy for Prevention and Longevity in the Hirslanden Group and as Chief Physician at the Hirslanden Check-Up Center. Dr. Erat was also the first female medical director in the history of the Hirslanden Clinic.
