B-Water Animation Studios is an animation production company founded in 2012 by German producer Dirk Hampel.[1] The company has its main operational bases in Barcelona and Tenerife (Spain), with additional presence in Cologne, Germany, and Budapest, Hungary.[2]

B-Water Animation Studios specializes in producing 2D and 3D animated content for film and television.[2] The studio also provides visual effects (VFX) services.[2] It is recognized for its flexible technological approach, incorporating software such as Unreal Engine,[3] Unity, and the open-source suite Blender[4][5] into its production pipelines.

The company frequently engages in international co-productions and service work, collaborating with partners from various countries including Germany, the United States, Peru,[4] or Ukraine.

Noteworthy productions include the television series Zafari, which utilized Unreal Engine for its rendering,[3] and Pettson and Findus.[6] In feature films, the studio has contributed to Kayara, a co-production with Peru,[4] and Mavka: The Forest Song, a Ukrainian animated film where B-Water provided support services.
