Badar Ali (born 2 Jan 1988) is an Indian student leader turned activist. He is the founder and national president of Yuva Seva Samiti.

Early Life

Badar Ali was born in a village Dotai near Garhmukhteshwar at Amroha Distt. Later moved to Meerut for Studies. His father Zulfiqar Ali was well know social worker in Meerut know by the name of "Bhai Ji" , also a government teacher by profession. He came to prominence as Muslim student leader after founding Yuva Seva Samiti.

Activism

Badar Ali has established himself as a Muslim icon^[1]^[2]^[3] . His work for the poor and Muslims make him a faithful face among people.

Tabrez Ansari Mob lynching case

Badar Ali always take part in any injustice done to people regardless the religion and cast of the victim. After lynching of a man name Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand, Badar Ali organize a Rally in Meerut, U.P against the people who lynch Tabrez. Thousand of people gathered in Faiz-E-Am Inter College, where Badar Ali addresses the people along with Meerut Sahar Qazi Prof. Zainus Sajidin

3 days after the rally police arrested ^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8] Badar Ali and charged 20 cases including Gangster Act. BHIM ARMY Chief Chandra Shekhar Azaad also went to meet^[9] Badar Ali in Jail.

He spent 5 months and 15 days in jail. While in jail support for Badar Ali increases day by day and receive warm welcome when releases from jail.

CAA\NRC

Released from jail 48 hours ago, Badar Ali condemned the act of police for shooting 5 Muslim men on 20th December 2020 NRC Protest case^[10] and file FIR on behalf of the 5 victims against the police and give financial support to the victims family. Many time after the CAA/NRC protest, Badar Ali was put under house arrest^[11] by the Meerut Police.

Political Career

Badar Ali starts his political career as President of Yuva Seva Samiti in 2011.

Later join^[12]^[13] Samajwadi Party by the hand of National President Akhilesh Yadav in August 2021.

Nagar Nigam Elections 2017

While working as President of Yuva Seva Samiti, Yuva Seva Samiti take part in 2017 Nagar Nigam Elections in which Yuva Seva Samiti won 5 seats under Badar Ali's face. Yuva Seva Samiti holds 3rd spot in the elections after BJP and BSP. SP and INC only gets 4 and 2 seats respectively.

Vidhan Sabha Election 2022

After winning 5 seats in 2017 Nagar Nigam Election, Badar Ali decided to contest 2022 Vidhan Sabha Election from 49, Dakshin vidhan sabha seat of Meerut District.
