Asuotiano is a town and part of Dormaa East Municipal in the Bono Region of Ghana. [4][5] The town is home to the Asuotianohene and traditional council.
History
[edit]Asuotiano was part of the group that Migrated from Akwamufie in the Eastern Region near Akosombo and made it's way to Wam which is now Dormaa Ahenkro. [6]
Administration
[edit]Asuotiano falls under Bono East Municipal capital Wamfie in Dormaa Ahenkro. Wamfie is situated 3 km south of Asuotiano. The nearby Senior High School is the Mansen Commercial Day Senior High School. The Wamanafo Commercial Day Secondary Technical School is also another nearby institution. The school is a second cycle institution. Wamanafo is situated 7 km south of Asuotiano.
Economy
[edit]About 80% of the labor force is engaged in agriculture, followed by the service, commerce and manufacturing sectors. Major crops grown include Maizes, Cassava, Plantain. Poultry farms and other food crops. Small business can be located all across the town, including Poultry feed, which all plays a big role in the local food industry.

Geography
[edit]The town is bordered by the Asuotiano is situated nearby to the municipal capital Wamfie, as well as near the town Asushua. Ampenkro town, 7 km South. Dormaa-Akwamu Town, 3½ km. Tonasuano Town, 6 km. southwestwestsouth[7] As of 2012, the town has a population of 5,037 people.[5]
Asuotiano has a tropical savanna climate (Köppen climate classification Aw), experiencing wet seasons and a dry season and the temperature being hot year-round. The average annual rainfall is around 1,270 mm (50 in) and the mean monthly temperature ranging from 22 to 30 °C (72 to 86 °F).
