Bobby Keel is an American singer/songwriter. He has received 24 Gold and 12 Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A) for album sales of more than 20,000,000 by artists who have recorded his songs. His hits include:

“Whiskey on Ice”[1]. recorded by Hank Williams Jr. (High Notes)[2]., Travis Tritt (Live in Concert)[3]. and Confederate Railroad (Cheap Thrills)[4].

“Time Off for Bad Behavior” [9]. recorded by David Allan Coe (Live at Billy Bob's Texas) [10]., Confederate Railroad (Confederate Railroad) [11]. and Mark Chestnut (Outlaw) [12].

“Daddy’s Honky Tonk” [13]. recorded by Moe Bandy and Joe Stampley (The Good 'Ol Boys: Alive and Well) [14].

“If You Got It” [15]. recorded by Albert King (Red House) [16].

“Yankee Don’t Go Home” [17]. recorded by the Carter Family (Southern Cross) [18]. and the Forester Sisters (The Forester Sisters) [19].

Bobby Keel, along with fellow songwriter Billy Stone discovered the Forester Sisters at an Arts Festival. Keel and Stone helped them to record a demo album that resulted in a record deal with Warner Brothers in July 1984. [20].

The album "Asphalt Ribbon", released in 2010, features original material written and performed by Bobby Keel. [21].
