Controversial Incidents

[edit]

Mason Bailey on the Saxophone

[edit]

Charlie Bett's musical career included being the lead singer for band Coronation 7, during which time his most known phrase was while introducing Bandmate Mason Bailey. Here he would state "And now, MASON BAILEY ON THE SAXAPHONE!", however this quickly escalated into full blown solo's for the bandmate, who would later be revealed to be much more talented than Charlie ever was.

1987 (Film)

[edit]

Charlie's first film performance was in the New Zealand Indie film 1987, however due to a series of unfortunate events the movie would not be released. This had a profound impact on Charlie, with local competition Tommy Broadmore leapfrogging him to appear in A Minecraft Movie[10]
