Creation4Cessation
[edit]Creation4Cessation (C4C) is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and healthcare advocate with a mission of promoting nicotine cessation through art, advocacy, and education.[1][2][3][4]
The organization was founded in 2023 by Sabrina Toor[5] and is based in Modesto, California. Toor advocated for nicotine cessation policy on the organization's behalf at a Modesto City Council meeting in 2024 in which the council moved to impose a moratorium on new tobacco shops.[6] Creation4Cessation is inspired by the movement of artivism,[7] using art as a form of advocacy to overcome addiction and push for anti-tobacco policy. Creation4Cessation has collaborated with organizations such as Protecting Health and Slamming Tobacco (PHAST),[8][9] Valley Children's Healthcare,[10] and the TOPS Coalition,[11] to promote their mission.
