Career
[edit]Early career
[edit]SAVAGE
[edit]Jenkins first started rapping during the Covid 19 pandemic, forcing lockdowns and world quarantine. Jenkins would first download an app on his phone, Rap Fame, to use pre-made beats and put his rhymes onto those pre-made beats. Jenkins would release his first album, SAVAGE, on June 2, 2020. The four track album was met with decent reviews.
“Turning Back Time” and “My Time”
[edit]Jenkins would later found the record label 9 29 records. On June 6, 2021, Jenkins would release his second album “Turning Back Time”. His third album, “My Time”, would also be released that week on June 10. Both these albums and Savage where released during the same week, with the “My Time (Deluxe Edition)” releasing a day later on the 11th.
The United States Of Dogge & Gperr singles
[edit]In the weeks following, Dogge would begin hyping up his next upcoming project, “The United States Of Dogge” citing it would be “bigger and better” than all his projects combined. The album was released on June 23, 2021, receiving genially positive reviews. After the album, jenkins would begin releasing singles with fellow Cleveland artist and 9 29 Records artist Gperr, promoting an upcoming collab album, however this would never take place as after one single, Dogge would go on hiatus.
2025-present
[edit]On June 18, 2025, Dogge would return to the public eye, starting a new twitter account and announcing to the world he was ditching the Dogge persona and would be going by his new name Cryptic. He also stated that he would start focusing on production and becoming a producer rather than a full time rapper. He would say he was grown up now, and was done ryming “hoe with bow”. On the same day, Jenkins would announce a new upcoming album.
Legal issues
[edit]In late 2022, Jenkins would be stopped and questioned by police after a bystander phoned in a potential arson activity. Jenkins was later let go.
In early 2023, Jenkins was detained and questioned about a potential harassment case. He was later let go with no formal chargers filed.
