eserv (legally Energy Services International Ltd) is a British software and engineering company headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. It develops and operates AS-TEG, a cloud-based digital twin platform designed to support engineering-intensive workflows across complex industrial assets such as FPSOs, oil rigs, refineries, and power plants. Primarily serving the energy sector[1], eserv’s platform offers clients control over their integrity monitoring, and engineering data and models.[2]
History
[edit]Eserv was established in 2015 by Dan Millard, a former Oil & Gas engineer. The company initially offered terrestrial laser scanning and data modelling services before transitioning to a SaaS provider with the release of their AS-TEG digital twin software platform.
Since then, Eserv has expanded its operations to include projects in the Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Thermal, and Renewable sectors. In 2020, Eserv partnered with Neptune Energy to deliver digital twin services across offshore assets in the UK North Sea.[3] By 2022 its client list had expanded to include Spirit Energy, Eni, SSE, MODEC and Centrica Energy Storage Plus.[4] That same year, the company secured investment from London-based private equity firm Vespa Capital LLP.[4]
Technology
[edit]Eserv's AS-TEG digital twin technology is tailored for engineering-intensive applications, providing models suitable for fabrication, modification, and integrity management.[1]
Clients and Industry
[edit]The platform is used by asset owners and operators in the Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Thermal and Renewable process plants both on and offshore industries.[4]
