GamingGlobe
GamingGlobe is an independent video game startup founded in 2023 and headquartered in San Jose, California. The company is focused on blending creativity, portability, and accessibility in gaming hardware and software. As of 2025, GamingGlobe is in active development of its first video game console the Click.
History
GamingGlobe was established by a small team of young game developers from Silicon Valley. Frustrated by the barriers indie creators faced on major platforms, the founders aimed to build a new kind of console—one designed from the ground up to be open, flexible, and creator-friendly. In September 2023, GamingGlobe unveiled its first console, the Click.
The Click Console
Hybrid Form Factor: The Click can be used as a traditional home console when Connected to HDMI or as a standalone handheld system with its high-resolution touchscreen.
ClickOS: A lightweight, Linux-based operating system optimized for performance, user mods, and multitasking.
Open Dev Access: A free SDK is available for developers, with a revenue-sharing model that heavily favors indie creators.
ClickCloud: Provides cross-save functionality, game streaming, and support for community-created content.
Games and Launch Titles
GamingGlobe is currently developing a handful of first-party titles to launch with the Click, including:
Sacred Stone – A retro-inspired RPG action-adventure
Starship Racing – A Space racing game.
Click Tech Tutorial – A in the box collection of mini games
The company has also opened early access to its SDK for selected indie developers, and several third-party games are rumored to be in development for the Click’s launch window in early to mid 2026.
Business Philosophy
GamingGlobe’s mission is to “empower the next generation of game creators.” The company’s core philosophy emphasizes accessibility, community-driven development, and transparency. In addition to its focus on gaming, GamingGlobe has announced plans to support educational initiatives by partnering with schools and nonprofits to teach game design and development using the Click.
Reception and Future Outlook The initial YouTube showcase of the Click Was not that popular, with not that much followers on the GamingGlobe Channel. While analysts remain cautious about the startup’s ability to compete with giants like Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo, many see GamingGlobe as a potential disruptor in the niche of creative and portable gaming.
The Click is expected to launch in Q1 2026, with pre-orders beginning in late 2025.
