GoreBox is a sandbox-style action video game developed and published by independent developer Felix Filip under the label F²Games. It is known for its graphic violence, ragdoll physics, and real-time object manipulation. The game was first released on Android in 2021 and later on Microsoft Windows (via Steam and itch.io) on July 21, 2023.

Gameplay

GoreBox features open-ended sandbox gameplay centered around the "Reality Crusher," a multifunctional tool that allows players to spawn, modify, and remove in-game elements such as NPCs, vehicles, weapons, and props.

Key gameplay features include:

  • Destruction and physics: Ragdoll-based character reactions, destructible objects, and visual dismemberment effects.[1]
  • Customization: Characters can be outfitted with skins, armor, and accessories.[2]
  • Content creation: Built-in map editor and Steam Workshop integration for sharing community-made mods and levels.[3]

GoreBox received generally positive user feedback, with particular praise for its creative sandbox mechanics and community-driven content. However, the game has also been noted for its extreme violence and lack of a traditional story structure.[10]
