Professor H. Yasid is an Indonesian muslim intellectual and a writer of books and journal articles. Educational Background

Professor H. Yasid began his primary education at the Darul Mannan Islamic Boarding School (Pondok Pesantren Darul Mannan) in Glagga Arosbaya Bangkalan, East Java Province, Indonesia (1974–1980). He then continued his secondary education at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior High School) and Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) of the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School (Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah) in Sukorejo, Situbondo, East Java, Indonesia (1981–1987). He pursued his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Shariah, Ibrahimy Islamic Institute (Institut Agama Islam Ibrahimy) from 1987 to 1992, while also attending Ma'had Aly (1990–1993) at the same Islamic Boarding School. He later continued his master's studies in the field of Sharia and Law at the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan (1994–1998).
