Jacob Thankachen is an Indian ultramarathon runner and entrepreneur based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is the founder of Aistihdaf Technologies LLC, a digital marketing firm serving clients across the Gulf region. He is recognized for his endurance running achievements and for building a unique eco-friendly residence in Kerala using over sixty-five herbal and Ayurvedic ingredients.

Athletic Career

Thankachen has participated in several ultramarathon and endurance events. He came into the public spotlight for his participation in a high-endurance desert run from Jaisalmer to Longewala in Rajasthan, India—a route noted for its extreme climatic and terrain challenges.[1]

In the United Arab Emirates, Thankachen made headlines for running up Jebel Jais, the country's tallest mountain, aiming to inspire youth through his physical feats. His achievement was featured in Gulf News and other outlets.[2]

He also holds a record in the Asia Book of Records for being the fastest individual to run up and down Jebel Jais mountain twice.[3]

Mrinmayam Residence

In his native state of Kerala, India, Thankachen constructed a unique eco-friendly house named Mrinmayam. The house is built using traditional methods and incorporates over sixty-five herbal and Ayurvedic ingredients, including drought-resistant herbs, Triphala, Kashayam, Chunambualli (a lime-based herbal compound), and Kulamavu. These materials are traditionally believed to promote health, regulate temperature, and offer natural protection from radiation.[5][6]
