Jai Vats is an Indian television and film actor known for his work in Hindi-language entertainment. He is best recognized for portraying Lord Shiv (Mahadev) in Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali on Sahara One, Nitish Parekh in Ikyawan on Star Plus, and Raja Mrityunjay in 10.29 Ki Aakhri Dastak on Star Bharat.
Early life
[edit]Jai Vats was born and brought up in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He performed in stage shows during his college years and holds a postgraduate diploma in Management. He always had an artistic bent of mind, and during his college days, he developed a strong affinity towards performing arts.
Career
[edit]Jai Vats began his television career with the mythological role of Lord Shiv in Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali on Sahara One. He gained further popularity with his role as Nitish Parekh, one of the leads in the family drama Ikyawan on Star Plus. He portrayed Raja Mrityunjay in the supernatural thriller 10.29 Ki Aakhri Dastak on Star Bharat, which was well received by the audience. He has played various other roles across television and digital platforms: • Madhav Roy in Bade Ghar Ki Choti Bahu on Dangal TV • Arjun in a film project based on the Mahabharat • Sharad, the main lead in the web series Patra Petika on MX Player • Dr. Sodhi in Choti Sardarni on Colors TV • Suryadev in Ramayan on Zee TV He has also appeared in multiple television commercials for brands such as Volvo, Amway, and Baby Hug. In addition to serials, he has been part of crime-based shows across major general entertainment channels (GECs), and has experience in ramp shows, print ads, short films, event promos, and TVCs.
