Early life and background
[edit]Azimuth was born in Oceanside, California. In 2001, she relocated to downtown San Diego, and later moved to Kansas City, Missouri, in 2006.[1]
Azimuth identifies as neurodivergent and is open about her experiences with ADHD and borderline personality disorder (BPD). These elements inform her creative process and artistic expression.[2]
Career

[edit]Azimuth has been an active force in electronic music for over two decades, pushing the boundaries of genre and sound.[3] She has performed at major venues such as the Metro Theater in Chicago, the Midland Theater in Kansas City, and multiple stages at South by Southwest (SXSW).[4] Her DJ sets are internationally recognized, having shared stages with prominent figures in the electronic music community.
Under the alias FSTZ, she was nominated for Best DJ in Kansas City by *The Pitch Weekly* from 2009 to 2011.[4]
In April 2008, Azimuth organized "Kablammo," Kansas City's first major dubstep event, held at the Record Bar. The event featured performances by Claw, FSTZ, Pat Hopewell, Always420, and Superisk, marking a significant moment in the city's electronic music scene.[5]
