Kristel Elling (born 20 August 1979 in Tartu), is an Estonian actor.[1]
She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre[2] in 2004[3]. Among her graduating classmates were actors Mirtel Pohla, Märt Avandi and Ott Sepp. After her graduation she worked as a freelancer at various theaters, including Theatre Vanemuine and the Von Krahl Theatre.
In 2005 Elling continued her acting studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, graduating in 2006 with a master’s degree.[4]
From 2007 to 2014 she worked in London, and since 2014, in Los Angeles, acting mainly in film and TV.
Kristel Elling is a member of ENL[5] (The Association of Professional Actors of Estonia), Estonian Theatre Union and SAG-AFTRA (The Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists).[6]
