LASIT is an Italian company among the world's leading players in the industrial laser industry.[1][2][3][4][5]
History
[edit]The company was founded in 1990 on the idea of entrepreneurs Marco Ievoli and Candida Colonna and is engaged in the design and construction of standard and customized machines for laser marking and engraving.
The company is an international reference operator, gaining wide prominence around the world with its most innovative solutions. Over the years, it has been given several awards, such as those for creating:
- first lamp system for laser marking
- automated system for marking inserts
- air-cooled Nd: Yag laser
- laser marking system with anthropomorphic robot processing.
The company's customers include some of the world's best-known brands in their respective fields, such as Brembo, Marelli, Ferrari, Saint-Gobain, Volvo, BTicino, ABB, and Beretta.
In 2021, the company launches a path of internationalization with the opening of five new foreign offices (Mexico, Poland, Spain, Germany,[6] and Great Britain).[7]
Charitable Activities
[edit]LASIT is committed to promoting charitable activities. In 2025, it donated professional equipment to the Academy Foundation to actively support the education of young students and professionals in the field of advanced manufacturing.[8]
