Lingeshwar Dham (Nepali:लिंगेश्वर धाम), or Linga Dham, or Lingaa Dham is a famous religious and tourist destination in Sudurpashchim province, Nepal. The site is famous for its unique rock formation, that closely resembles a Shiva Linga. The structure is approximately 135 meters in width and 20 meters in height.^[1] It is located in Bagun, Bedkot Municipality-4 of Kanchanpur district. ^[2] To get to the Lingeshwar Dham, you must travel 9.4 kilometers towards east from the Daiji market.^[3] It is believed that Lord Shiva once sojourned under a tree, which adds to its mystical allure. ^[4]

Risk of Erosion:

In recent years, the flooding of Bagun river, and the erosion has put massive risk on the site. Locals demand that the government should show vigilance in the protection and development of the site.

A temple, idols, and a 'selfie wall' built for tourists to take pictures have already been destroyed by the flood.^[6]
