Loic Chan (Khmer: ចាន់ឡូអិច; born 6 March 2005) is a French footballer who plays as a midfielder for Mallorca. He mainly operates as a midfielder and is known for his technical ability.[1]
Early life
[edit]Chan was born in France to Maurice Chan, a Cambodian stuntman, and a French mother.[2][3] Chan started playing football at the age of five.[4] He grew up supporting Spanish La Liga side Barcelona.[5] He attended a football school in France.[6]
Career
[edit]In 2020, Chan signed a contract to be represented by a FIFA-licensed Spanish agent and joined the youth academy of Spanish side Mallorca.[7]
Chan was called up to a Cambodia national under-23 football team training camp for the 2023 AFF U-23 Championship.[8]
International career
[edit]Chan has been called up to represent Cambodia at youth international level.
