Mahmood Alam (born 11 May 1973)[citation needed] is an Indian politician and social activist from Jharkhand. He serves as the National General Secretary and Spokesperson for the Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha (RJM), a regional political party, and has contested the Mandu constituency in every Jharkhand Assembly election since 2009.[1][2]

Early Life and Career

Mahmood Alam was born on 11 May 1973 in Bishnugarh, Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand. He became active in the Jharkhand statehood movement during the 1990s and later entered regional politics.[3]

Since 2009, Alam has contested multiple elections from the Mandu constituency. He currently serves as the National General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha.[4]
