Mahmood Alam (born 11 May 1973)[citation needed] is an Indian politician and social activist from Jharkhand. He serves as the National General Secretary and Spokesperson for the Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha (RJM), a regional political party, and has contested the Mandu constituency in every Jharkhand Assembly election since 2009.[1][2]
Early Life and Career
[edit]Mahmood Alam was born on 11 May 1973 in Bishnugarh, Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand. He became active in the Jharkhand statehood movement during the 1990s and later entered regional politics.[3]
Since 2009, Alam has contested multiple elections from the Mandu constituency. He currently serves as the National General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha.[4]
