Mix Kick Boxing is a modern hybrid martial art founded on July 3, 2018 by Dr. Mohammad Beigi in Iran. It was initially registered under the supervision of the Martial Arts Association Federation of the Ministry of Sport and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The international name of the style is the World Mix Kick Boxing Association Federation (WMAF). After two years, the style moved under the supervision of the Judiciary of Iran and now operates internationally as an independent martial arts institution.
Style Overview
[edit]The term "Mix" refers to the combination of multiple martial arts techniques. The style blends elements from kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, judo, and wrestling. It includes both competitive fighting methods and individual artistic components such as:

- Breaking techniques
- Martial arts acrobatics
Belt System

Competition Formats

- **Kickboxing Rules Styles**: low kick, full contact, semi contact, light contact, K-1, point fighting, kick lighting, Thai kickboxing, body contact
- **Exclusive Mix Fighting Style (M-1)**: A proprietary combat method similar to MMA with unique rules and gear
- **Individual Arts**: Musical forms, weapon demonstrations, self-defense techniques, and acrobatics
M-1 Rules (Mix Kick Boxing Style)
[edit]M-1 competitions are conducted with full protective equipment including MMA gloves, headgear, mouthguard, shin and elbow pads. Matches are held for both male and female athletes across all weight divisions. Techniques include:
- Striking (hands, feet, elbows, knees)
- Throws, takedowns, grappling, and submissions
- Ground fighting (jujitsu and wrestling techniques)
Prohibited Actions in M-1 Style

- Headbutting
- Eye gouging
- Biting
- Hair pulling
- Striking the spine, neck, or groin
- Small joint manipulation
- Elbow strikes from 12 to 6 position
- Kicking a grounded opponent’s head
- Use of the ring ropes or fence for attack
