Observe.AI is a privately held technology company that provides an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered conversation intelligence platform for contact centers. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in Redwood City, California.
History
[edit]Observe.AI was founded in 2017 by Swapnil Jain, Sharath Keshava Narayana, Akash Singh, and Jithendra Vepa. The company participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program in 2018.[1]. It has since raised significant venture capital, including a $125 million Series C round in 2022 led by SoftBank Vision Fund with participation from Zoom Video Communications and existing investors like Menlo Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, and Scale Venture Partners[2]. As of April 2022, the company had raised a total of $213 million.
In March 2025, the company was listed on Forbes’ "America’s Best Startup Employers" list[3].
In March 2025, Observe.AI acquired Dubdub.ai, a startup specializing in AI voice cloning and text-to-speech technology. The acquisition was aimed at strengthening Observe.AI’s VoiceAI capabilities and expanding its portfolio of customer-facing speech applications[4].
Products and Services

In 2025, Observe.AI launched VoiceAI Agents, a product that uses text-to-speech technology to automate customer service calls. The system is intended to handle routine interactions, with the ability to transfer calls to human agents when necessary.[5]
