[edit]Omar Sherrer (also known as Damien Sherrer and Make Hijrah) is an American Islamic speaker and television host.
Early life and conversion
[edit]Sherrer was born in the United States and raised in a non-Muslim household. In public interviews, he has spoken about a troubled early life that included time in prison and personal struggles. He converted to Islam as an adult, a decision that he attributes to a gradual spiritual and intellectual process during and after incarceration.[2] [3]
