[edit]Ourea Events was incorporated as a limited company on 11th May 2011[1]. Shane Ohly is the sole executive director[2] with ownership of 75% or more of the shares[3]. It's offices are based in Kendal in Cumbria[1]. It currently has 11 permanent staff[4].
Its events take a significant number of people to operate. For example Dragon's Back Race in 2025 used 169 event team members including permanent staff, freelance staff, contractors and volunteers[5].
