Pierre Émile Matras, (29 August 1914 - March 22 1998) was a French World War II fighter ace with nine confirmed victories.

Biography

Pierre Matras was born in Valence on August 29, 1914 and died in Toulouse on March 22, 1998 at age 83. He is buried in the cemetery on the Route de Romans in Valence[1].

Wartime Service

On November 14, 1935 Matras enlisted in the Air Force.
