Comment: No sources and even I count IMBD as a source, it is not a reliable source so should not be used (see WP:IMDB), though it is fine as an External link where it is. If resubmitted without substantial relevant improvement that addresses the reasons for the decline (both sourcing and notability), the draft may be rejected meaning it will no longer be considered. Pyasi Sham (lit. 'Thirsty Evening') is a 1969 film starring Sunil Dutt, Sharmila Tagore, Feroz Khan, Om Prakash and Kamal Kapoor. The music is by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri. The film is directed by Amar Kumar and produced by Kewal Kumar under the production banner Kawaljit Productions.
Plot
[edit]Raja (Sunil Dutt) lives with his sister Laaj in Bombay and runs an audio store, "Musicals". He is a close friend of Ashok (Feroz Khan), who lives a wealthy lifestyle in Worli Seaface with his widower dad Shankarlal and grandfather. The friends get together to arrange Laaj's marriage with Ravi, an orphan. Raja meets Madhu Sinha (Sharmila Tagore), the daughter of Ishwarprasad, Shankarlal's estranged childhood friend and falls in love with her. On the other hand, Ashok's grandfather likes Madhu and convinces Ashok to marry her. Later on, Ashok also falls in love with Madhu. One day, Ashok reveals to Raja that he loves Madhu. Raja requests Madhu to marry Ashok but things get resolved when Ashok finds out that Madhu and Raja are in love. Ishwarprasad arranges their marriage, but before that Ravi disappears and Laaj is devastated which distresses Raja mentally. He starts to take alcohol and refuses to marry Madhu. He hides a secret which he cannot disclose to anyone. In the end, it was revealed that Shankarlal was the culprit of all this trouble because he wanted that Madhu should marry Ashok.
