Robert Musgrave is an American actor best known for his role as Bob Mapplethorpe in Wes Anderson's 1996 film Bottle Rocket[1]. He has also appeared in several other films[2], including Idiocracy (2006) and Drillbit Taylor (2008).

Career

Musgrave's breakout role came with Bottle Rocket (1996), where he portrayed Bob Mapplethorpe alongside Owen and Luke Wilson. The film marked the feature-length directorial debut of Wes Anderson and received critical acclaim, eventually gaining a cult following. Musgrave had previously appeared in the original 1992 short film version of Bottle Rocket, playing the same character.

Following Bottle Rocket, Musgrave continued to act in various films. Notably, he played Sgt. Keller in Mike Judge's satirical science fiction comedy Idiocracy (2006) and appeared as Stump in Drillbit Taylor (2008). His other film credits include Shut Yer Dirty Little Mouth (2001), Take a Number (1997), and The Wendell Baker Story (2005).
