Shake My Days is a Japanese pop rock duo formed in 2021, consisting of vocalist Mitsuki and guitarist Showky Saezawa. Based in Kyoto, the unit is known for blending retro-style melodies inspired by British rock of the 1960s–70s and Showa-era Japanese pop with a modern pop sensibility.

Their debut single “Blue Sky Is Imitation” was featured as the ending theme for TV programs on Shizuoka Broadcasting System, leading to broader media exposure. In the latter half of the 2020s, the band gained international recognition, particularly in Europe and Latin America, through coverage on indie music blogs and radio.

Musical style

[edit]

Shake My Days combines nostalgic melodies and analog-like guitar sounds with a floating, clear female vocal. Their style incorporates elements of city pop, indie pop, and retro rock, and has been praised for its emotional depth and cross-cultural appeal.
