Shuja Asad (شجاع اسد) is a Pakistani actor who works in Urdu television.[1] He made his acting debut with Pyar Deewangi Hai (2022). Asad is known for his roles in dramas Khaie (2024), Aye Ishq e Junoon (2024) and Tan Man Neel o Neel (2024).[2][3]

Early life and career

Asad was born and brought up in Karachi. He married his childhood friend Maheen Saeed in 2019.[4][5]

Asad started his acting career in 2021 with a web series called Free Fire Academy. In 2022, he made his television debut in the drama Pyar Deewangi Hai, which aired on ARY Digital. In 2023, he appeared in several dramas including Bandish 2 and College Gate. He played the lead role of Bilal in College Gate, which aired on Green Entertainment. Later that year, he played a character named Azmir in Fitna on Hum TV.[6][7][8]

In early 2024, Asad gained wider recognition for his role as Barlas Khan in the drama Khaie, which aired on Geo Entertainment. He also acted in Tan Man Neel o Neel and Aye Ishq-e-Junoon.[9] In 2025, he appeared in drama series Paradise, along with Iqra Aziz.[10][11] He will next appear in drama series Aye Dil Tu Bata, along with Kubra Khan.[12][13]
