Sid Simone, MBA is an American author, radio-TV personality, international comedian, motivational speaker, professor and CEO. She is the founder-CEO of Sid Simone, Inc,[1] a business consulting agency.

Her debut book, "I Didn't Screw the Mayor. He Screwed Me." is a witty true political drama of a businesswoman ( or is she), and the suspicious politics of Mendacious Crest, Michigan.[2][3]

As a stand-up comedian, Sid entertains international audiences on her "Fresh Out of Flux" tour.

Sharing her business and journalism acumen, Sid serves as an Adjunct Professor at various colleges and universities.

Sid is an MC for pageants (2006 Miss Shoreline Contestant), fashion shows (GGP Inc.), team building events, for audiences up to 400,000, as well as writes and delivers motivational speeches for high school, college and adult engagements.

For 13 years, Sid Simone operated a promotional staffing agency, serving medium to Fortune 500 companies, and municipalities. The company was the only identified African-American, woman-owned promotional staffing and training agency in the United States.

In 2025, survived the historic earthquake in Bangkok, Thailand, making several appearances on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC reporting on her experience. [4]

In 2023, Sid was a contestant on FOX's The Floor (American game show), with the category "Veggies," challenging the category of "Tools," Episode 1, Season 1.

In 2006, Sid reported live for several outlets, at the head of the civil rights march for the Jena 6 in Jena, Louisiana. Marching with notable figures such as Michael Baisden, Martin Luther King III, Reverend Jesse Jackson

Radio and Television Career

Currently, Sid hosts and produces a travel vegetarian show, "Flavafull,"[5] available on her YouTube channel. Countries featured on the show: Greece, Japan, Portugal, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, Tokyo, Vietnam, USA.

Sid's radio and television career began in 2004 at WUVS-LP as the EP and Host of "Da Spot," Assistant Program Director and On-Air Host at WVIB and WYGR. Over the decades, Sid has hosted and produced Talk, Urban, and Urban AC format programs for local broadcasts for CBS, FOX, and Citadel Broadcasting, 9&10 News as well as being on-air for independently-owned stations.

Early Life and Education

Sid attended private Christian schools from preschool through High School in Muskegon, Michigan.

She is an alumnus of the University of Houston with an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, obtaining an MBA (Master of Business Administration.
